ActionSkills designed and delivered a revamped website for ABC Alumni. Working with voluntary organisations is not an easy task, and Action Skills clearly understood the difficulties of engaging volunteers who had limited experience in providing clear briefs and direction. The web designers also encountered changes of directions, as different committee members reviewed the role and function of the website and suggested changes. All of this was dealt with good grace and understanding.

Through this process Action Skills was able to guide our organisation in thinking out of the box, keeping the design simple and audience focused. It was a valuable process for our organisation to clarify our role and purpose, and what we wanted the website to achieve.

The redesign of our logo, led by Action Skills was a real success and genuinely appreciated by our members.

Action Skills worked seamlessly and cooperatively with our website administrator to ensure that the website, once designed, was effectively populated.

The process was not without teething problems. It was a low budget task and the designers kept to the budget within reason, despite changes in brief that occurred during the process. However, it necessarily meant that the delivery time was pushed well out as the initial timeframe was affected by changes requested by the organisation as well as other scheduled commitments of Action Skills staff. However, the timeline was cooperatively updated between the designers and our organisation and, as deadlines were not critical, we were able to mutually negotiate completion times.

I would highly recommend working with Action Skills. Their approach was cooperative and ethical, matching the values of our own organisation.
